iWeb has recently been voted most popular web hosting company by webhosting industry specialized website, Dedicated Server Directory

Part of the Serchen Network, this site lists all the webhosting companies in Canada and the United States. Every month it ranks the 25 most popular companies listed on their directory.

iWeb has been voted most popular for June 2010 and has received the same award every month since june 2009.

That’s right, it’s twelve months in a row! We value this a lot, especially because the results are based on users votes. It is always a good feeling to be so consistently considered a popular company!

iWeb achieves its third consecutive ranking on the Profit100, the annual ranking of Canadian companies based on 5-year revenue growth.

iWeb’s revenue grew to over $27.1 Million in 2009, from $1.6 Million in 2004, a 1644% growth which moved iWeb into the 31st position, up from 85th the year before and 100th in 2008.

Recently named to Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, CEO Eric Chouinard credits iWeb’s team; “It is impressive to see how innovative and passionate our team has become. Everyone has put so much into reaching their targets and objectives. iWeb’s growth, almost entirely organic, is the result of this collective effort!”

Wordpress is probably one of the best known content management systems. A brief earthquake was felt in Montreal earlier today. According to our sources magnitude of the earthquake was 5.5 on the Richter scale. The quake was felt as far away as Toronto and in the State of New York in the United States. The epicenter was north of Buckingham.

Apparently no damage has been reported. As for iWeb, no problem either. Our data centers and our services were not affected.

From time to time, we like to bring you some news about the evolution of our new data center. Since our last article a lot of work has been accomplished. The old factory we acquired in Ville-Lasalle, near Montréal is really starting to look like a full-fledged data center. Continue reading »

The magazine “L’Actualité” has published its annual list of growth leaders in Quebec in its July 2010 edition. This list ranks the 20 Quebec companies and their leaders who make tomorrow’s economy. iWeb is really proud to get the sixth place this year.
