Datacenter Expansion; Water system work in progress

phase2 Here are the latest pictures of the work in progress at iWEB’s-CL DC. Several work has been done on our water system; trenches for the drain system to evacuate water and bring the water to the water tower were dug, the water tower and the pumps system were put in function, the preparation to put in function the 30 ton water air conditioning units on the dedicated servers side.

Zone 6: Water Tower and Pumps System phase2
Here’s a picture of the water tower in our new section (left picture). Yesterday, the water tower and the pumps system (right picture) were put in function. Therefore, our machine room located in zone 3 on the map at the bottom of the page is now air-conditioned adequately. In a few weeks, we shall also proceed to put in function the dedicated server and colocation zone.
Zone 6: Generator and drain system phase2
Here’s a picture of a trench for the drain system. To avoid water accumulation on the new section side and of the back field, a drain system was needed. Trenches also serve as means of transportation to furnish our water tower. On the second picture, our generator inside a new shelter. The previous container was temporary and intended only for transport. It was replaced by a permanent container provided with access doors making it more accessible to our staff.
